Officers responded to the reported robbery at a Chevron gas station around 9:55 p.m. on East Ben White Boulevard, just east of Interstate 35, police said.
Still images of the suspect were released in the hopes someone might recognize him and alert police as to his identity and/or location. He’s described as a black man between the ages of 25-30 standing at six feet, two inches in height and weighing between 180 to 190 pounds. He sported a short, corn-row haircut with a beard and mustache. He wore a red hooded Nike sweatshirt, a gray T-shirt, black sweatpants and black tennis shoes.

Police were told a man entered the store and assaulted the clerk with a handgun before stealing an undisclosed amount of cash. The man was last seen on Catalina Drive, getting into a white 2000s-model Ford Crown Victoria with black wheels, police said.
Police are asking for Anyone who can identify this man is eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the tip is the first one to lead to his arrest. Call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477 to leave an anonymous tip.
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin police are searching for a man who they say violently robbed a Chevron gas station in southeast Austin Saturday night.
The robbery happened just before 10 p.m. at the gas station located on the westbound frontage of East Ben White Boulevard near Interstate 35. Police say the suspect entered the store, assaulted the clerk with a handgun before running off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk suffered minor injuries.
The suspect was seen getting into a white 2000s-model Ford Crown Victoria with black wheels. The suspect is described as a black man between 25-30 years old, 6 feet to 6-foot-2 and around 180-190 pounds.
